Lynne admits to an online addiction… as an interactive creator, she is the creative drive behind inSeries Media’s comedy web series ilovealuger.com. She wrote ‘n directed all webisodes and the copy for the site. Actively involved in seeding the community for the series, she merrily manages the site without breaking too much and is the voice of the character “Nikki” on all social media. I Love A Luger was also licensed to the 2010 Cultural Olympiad Digital Edition.
She is known to try anything once and most things twice. Lynne cut her teeth in entertainment news, producing original video for CBC Citybeat, Newswatch and Newsworld. Not dampened by the bowels of the CBC building, she went on to produce and direct documentaries for the W Network, music videos for such indie stars as Ani Difranco, and collaborate with visual artists on works acquired by the Smithsonian.
Although able to triple fist (produce, direct and write), Lynne actually much prefers to play with others. Her first love is writing. She actively pens for feature film, live-action television as well as animation. She attended the 2005 Screenwriters’ Film Residency Lab at the Canadian Film Centre. While there, she wrote two of the NBC Universal Short Dramatic Films and in 2009 returned to pen a third (a bilingual musical). As someone who doesn’t like to stand still long, Lynne luckily has been awarded many international residencies and fellowships.
These pages contain independent works only. For more information on her other work in animation, television or features, please contact Lynne’s rockstar agent: Rena Zimmerman, Great North Artists.
